Things to Do in Predazzo in the Summer

Published on 27 April 2026 by Elisa

In Predazzo, in Val di Fiemme, there are plenty of activities and places to visit during the warmer months. Here they are—we’ve tried them all for you:

Predazzo Bio-Lake

Biological lakes are a truly appealing option for those who love swimming pools but also love nature. The biological lake in Predazzo is one of the prettiest in the region, but don’t expect the water to be very warm! Here, everything depends on the weather, and the lake is fed by a spring, so the average temperature is definitely similar to that of an alpine lake: nice and cool! Its grassy shores are perfect for relaxing and having fun. The natural lake is open from June 1 through the end of September. Here we’ll tell you about our experience at the Predazzo Biolake.

Predazzo Suspension Bridge

It was one of the first to be built, but it’s certainly one of the least well-known. The route starts in town, taking the flat path that runs alongside the Travignolo stream; you’ll find it at the end of the small bridge, right after the Guardia di Finanza school. The first section is very pleasant, winding through green spaces and fitness trail stations. The bridge is nearly 40 meters, about twenty high, and has a larch wood deck that makes crossing it less jarring, especially for dogs. You’ll see what a sight it is! Here’s our story about the Predazzo suspension bridge.

Predazzo Waterfall

Just a short distance from the town center lies one of the most beloved spots for adults and children alike: the Predazzo Waterfall. It’s a beautiful, easy walk that the whole family can enjoy. The route is straightforward, with an elevation gain of about 230 meters. The path—first paved and then unpaved—winds through the fields before narrowing into a trail. Find all the details at: the Predazzo Waterfall.

Torre di Pisa Mountain Hut

A 40-meter-high spire of Dolomite rock, shaped like the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, and nearby, a lovely mountain hut serving traditional Trentino dishes—all at an elevation of 2,671 meters. Take the lifts up from Predazzo, then continue on foot for about an hour and a half. Find all the details about the hike to the Torre di Pisa Mountain Hut.

Valmaggiore Alpine Hut

Here’s a lovely spot for a nature outing! To reach the mountain hut, you can drive up from the village of Predazzo, following the signs for Valmaggiore: the road is narrow but passable by car all the way to your destination. You can also choose to leave your car at one of the parking areas located where the dirt road begins and enjoy a pleasant walk through the woods. Once you reach the fork leading to Lake Cece , continue straight ahead to the right, following the stream along the flat path. Our story of Malga Valmaggiore.

Lake Cece

A very beautiful hike lasting about an hour and a half, leading to a magical, off-the-beaten-path spot. Here’s a bonus tip: spend the night at the shelter by the lake for an unforgettable experience. All the information you need to reach Lake Cece.

Mini Golf

You might not have realized it, but the mini-golf course in Predazzo is one of the most beautiful in Italy. It’s easy to find—it’s located just outside town, on the road leading to Bellamonte and then to Passo Rolle. The 18 holes offer varying levels of difficulty and unique features; some require great precision, while others call for a bit of luck. It’s open until around the end of September. Let us tell you just how much fun we had at the Predazzo mini-golf course!

Walk Between Predazzo and Ziano

An easy walk suitable for all seasons that winds through the meadows and countryside between the two villages. You can explore it on foot, by bike, or with a stroller—ideal for those who don’t want to exert themselves too much. All the info: Strolling Between Predazzo and Ziano

Lena Farm

A beautiful farmhouse with a rustic charm, famous for its sweet and savory snacks; you can also enjoy excellent meals made with fresh, wholesome ingredients. There’s no shortage of charming farm animals: calves, donkeys, cows, horses, and sheep. They also organize horse-drawn carriage rides. All the details at Maso Lena, a rural agritourism farm

Geological Museum of the Dolomites

If you’re in Predazzo, visiting this museum is a must. It tells the story of the geology of the Dolomites, particularly the Fiemme and Fassa Valleys. Its collections include a substantial selection of local paleontological specimens and numerous minerals that constitute a true geological treasure trove. Visitors can discover the incredible history of what were once five “islands”: the Latemar, the Catinaccio, the Marmolada, the Sella, and the Lagorai. There are plenty of activities for children organized during the summer. We’ll tell you everything there is to know about the Geological Museum of the Dolomites, the local branch of MUSE in Trento.

Paneveggio Park

In the Forest of Violins, within the Paneveggio Natural Park, you’ll find the deer enclosure and the Marciò Trail with its suspension bridge and the trail with the transparent floor. Find all the information about the Paneveggio Park.

Bellamonte – Alpe Lusia

Here you’ll find the ever-popular Giro d’Ali, a trail accessible by the lifts (be sure to take the nicest and most fun gondola…) featuring a variety of attractions and water games: the kids will love it! We’re located in Le Fassane, at an elevation of 1,750 meters. Open from mid-June through mid-September.

On the way back, you can go visit Grandpa Gustavo. Don’t you know Grandpa Gustavo? … He isn’t a person—or rather, he used to be—and this place that bears his name is a museum, specifically an ethnographic museum housed in an old tabià, near the Hotel Stella Alpina.

Latemar: The Animated Mountain

Another beautiful high-altitude theme park, above Predazzo. It takes ten minutes by cable car (open from mid-June to mid-September) to Gardonè (1,650 meters), and then, if you like, you can continue on the chairlift to Passo Feudo, at an altitude of 2,200 meters.

Both places have lovely mountain huts where you can stop for a meal. At the foot of the Latemar mountain range, you can have fun, go for walks, breathe in the fresh air, and learn all the secrets of the forest. There are truly countless events and activities to enjoy.
